This module allows an ALPR Server or Mirror Server to manage features installed on ALPR client PCs.
If you are running a large ALPR system then this feature permits you to organise various functions remotely.The options available are as follows:
Remote Open Barrier
This gives you control (remotely open) of the barriers connected to an ALPR client PC from an ALPR server;
Remote Access Control
This feature allows you to manage the global access controls installed on the server. Client machines will reference the server to check if an approaching vehicle has access rights;
Remote Car Park Adjust
This option lets you view and amend car park counting from client PCs via an ALPR server;
Video Snapshots
This module allows an ALPR server to request periodic snapshots from all ALPR client PCs' cameras. The snapshots are displayed in the lane windows on the server's main screen;
Proximity Card Reader Interface
This interface links to a 3rd Millennium proximity card reader.It will retrieve the proximity card’s user ID from the appliance and insert it to the most recent ALPR event on the lane, for use in database lookup or access control.The user ID can additionally be exported from the JEX module for external use.
Relay Control
This module controls which relay outputs the system will trigger when a vehicle is observed and allowed / denied access.You can configure a "barrier", “green/red lights“ or “signs”.The barrier option offers a button on each lane that allows the user to manually open the barrier.
Remote Lane Rename
This option lets you amend Lane names configured on ALPR client PCs from an ALPR server PC; [This option is used only in conjunction with the Synectics CCTV matrix interface where the Jet ALPR system receives lane, camera and preset information from Synectics through a serial connection]
Remote Relay Triggering
The remote relay allows you to checkbox if you are sending a trigger from the Frequent Visitors module. This lets a server signal a relay configured on a client PC.
