Silverbird Processor

Part of the Blackbird series, the CitySync Silverbird ALPR Remote Processor is an incredibly small computer platform operating Windows XP Professional. It is perfectly apt to remote ALPR use in restricted places, where a compact, tough device is needed able to endure the rigors of roadside processing.

The Silverbird can reside in isolated roadside cabinets or CCTV column bases. The robust dual core processor and GigE connectivity allow the links between analog or HD ALPR cameras with color contextual overview cameras.

The Silverbird operates the accomplished Jet Automatic Licence Plate Recognition software which means that ALPR cameras are no longer required to be linked to a central processing place via costly fibre connections.

Instead, camera images can be processed at source and the ALPR data (text and / or images) can be transmitted to base as needed via a smaller bandwidth than real-time video. Records can be transferred to servers using WLAN, GPRS or WiFi.
