JetMobile In-Car System

JetMobile is an easy-to-use ALPR system that can be set up on an existing laptop or in-car PC.  It can regularly function with an existing DVR system offering considerable cost savings.  Police users can choose from an assortment of cameras to endure demanding ALPR requirements.   Critical to JetMobile's achievement is the police-friendly user interface which included big clearly marked buttons offering an officer to simply connect with the system whilst the vehicle is motion. A touch screen alternative eliminates the need for a keyboard while audible license plate alarms can be actioned with a couple of button presses.   Cameras can be inconspicuously set up within the vehicle permitting the officer to obtain license plate images discreetly and verify all plates against 200 hotlist databases in real time.      JetMobile™ can obtain license plates from vehicles traveling at speeds up to 150mph. Two ALPR cameras can be linked to a single Panasonic CF-29 laptop or similar with the low cost CitySync IP converter. Up to eight cameras can be linked via the effective ‘Jet Bluebird™’ in-car ALPR processor. The Bluebird™ has an integral battery backup and can record both video and audio concurrently for verification purposes.   The system has voluntary GPS mapping software which will help the officer to plan a route, but also show the latest hits on an interactive map.
