CitySync, the leading International provider of Automatic Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) announce the new JetCam Fox HD Digital at IFSEC.
The Fox HD is a powerful long range infra red High Definition ALPR camera which can capture two lanes of traffic - or one wide entrance with a single device.
Traditional analogue ALPR cameras only have a 3m field of view and when several are used across a motorway they have a ‘blind spot’ between them. Such camera clusters can look unsightly and are more expensive to install.

Two-way traffic can also be ‘read’ from one pole on one side of the road producing significant savings.
The Fox HD has a horizontal resolution of nearly 1400 pixels easily covering 6-7m of road. The increased vertical resolution of over 1000 pixels is utilised by the Jet ALPR Engine which captures several images as traffic passes - resulting in increased recognition accuracy.
