PRESS RELEASE ~ AD Group & CitySync Announce Joint Development Deal ~ May 07

  

In 2006 the AD Group started searching for an ALPR Technology Partner to work with their next generation of Analytics Capable, Dedicated Micros DVRs and Servers. They eventually chose CitySync and now, after many months of development work, both companies are rolling out new products.

 
As part of the deal CitySync gain access to AD ChipWrights technology platform in the shape of a small parallel processing board that CitySync will use as the in-camera processor for its next generation intelligent ALPR cameras. CitySync will supply their Jet recognition software to run on Dedicated Micros, Analytics Capable products which will be supplied as a software upgrade through AD Group's specialist video analytics arm, D-Tec.
 
The CitySync ALPR software identifies and extracts the number plate text from the images making searching and retrieval far easier.
